My 16th Birthday.

Today is my sweet 16th birthday! (Woot! Woot!)
God has taken me far on this journey He has laid out for me since I was born. Painful, moments of wounds, dark and stormy times, and also joyful and blessed times. Through it all God has shown me His steadfast love, and ever faithful, never forsaking presence.

When I look back on the day I was born and think about how much God loves me and you, and knit us together with NO mistake, it shows how far He has brought me.
God has shown me so much of Himself. And through the pain, He used to get a hold of my heart, He has shown me the purpose in pain and sorrow.
Even though I know sorrow is to come in the future, I know where my heart lays. In the Anchor, the Almighty, the Great Father and Keeper of my heart.

Now that I am 16, doesn't mean I have changed and I'm gonna be this teenage snob whose this 16 year old girl who cares only for herself, like the 16 year olds in our society. Nope! I don't want to be like your average American girl who cares only for herself and is a snob. I don't want to be seen and known as just a teen girl. I want and pray you would see Jesus in me. That you wouldn't see your average 16 yr. old but would see Jesus not me! That Jesus would shine so bright out of me that you wouldn't see me and think about me, but that Jesus would instantly be seen and searched for. I don't want to be the girl you have to compete with to have the nicest cloths or camera.
No! I don't want you to see ME but see Jesus!
I pray Jesus would make His home so comfy in my heart that He would NEVER think of moving, and that His light would shine SO bright out of His home in me that it would burst out without question or delay.
This is what the passion is of this new 16 year old girl is...pray you see it in me. Glory all too God forever.

His Sweet Melody.

The other night I sang one of my original songs at church.
I went feeling nervous, but kept praying that God would use me to touch lives and that He would move in the hearts there.
And I do believe He did His work, and with so much power.
I know it is nothing I did or could have done. It was all God. I was just His tool for that particular work and plan.

I don't thank God that He came into my work. I thank God for using me for His great work and plan. I sang and played like never before, not because of the audience, but because I was sitting before the throne room of the Almighty, and worshiping my King.

Bless the Lord, O my soul. O my soul, worship HIS holy name. Sing like never before, O my soul. I will worship His holy name...

And that is just what I did.I've never been able to sing as clear and calm in all my life. It was like God put His hand on my throat and let it burst with true melody and tune.
I praise God for all He is and all He does! HE is worthy of praise! All glory to God forever.

Springtime Is When...

Reason #2 why I love Springtime...

Springtime:
is when you pull out your garden tools and gloves and break the solid ground in your garden-bed. Watching the light brown dirt become dark and earthy brown the more you dig and the more you fuss...

Oh! And btw! Check out my freshly new page called "Elsewhere".

Alive.

Reason #1 why I love spring.

Spring...
When it rains causing the dead brown ground and trees to burst with sudden green color...dead through the winter. Then suddenly! In a blink of an eye, ALIVE!

The Will of God.

"And we urge you brothers, astonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:14-18.

Ben & Martha: Wedding | | Wedding Photographer

Hello there! I know it has taken awhile, and I promised you all ages ago that I would share a few of the wedding photos I took at the wedding I photographed. My personal laptop is still down, but it just so happens the wedding pictures are on one of my siblings laptop, too! (Booyah!)
So I thought I would share just a few with you. Now, most of these I will be sharing are unedited because I do not have the time to edit them on this laptop, plus upload them to blogger AND post them. It takes wayyy to long. But here are JUST a few of the many. Don't freak out because they are so raw and unedited...I know...I know...It bugs me too...just enjoy them!

The beautiful bride's dress and shoes.

The Bride getting her hair and makeup done.
The Bride's Mother's hand and wedding ring as she tied her daughter's dress.

The Bride's beautiful wedding ring.
The Bride in the mirror.

{THE PHOTO SHOOT}
The beautiful bride talking to the Flower Girl.
Her gorgeous bouquet!
.
It was freezing when we went and did pictures, so I felt bad for the little Flower Girl, but she did so well and didn't complain <3 p="">

Little feet...too cute not to snap.
She was so stunning...
Her dress was amazing!
{THE RECEPTION}
Forgive me for the horrible quality of this picture. The lighting stunk in this room and it was hard to capture in the dark without a good flash. But I had to show this picture anyway, because I love their happiness in it! It's a priceless picture beyond the bad quality.
And we shall end with a yummy bowl of addicting M&M's that sat at each table tempting everyone :)
I have to say, I haven't had such good M&M's as these were.

I have to apologize these pictures have not the best quality. I'm sorry I had to show most of them raw, and without edit. It frustrates me I can't show the edited ones :((( Oh, laptop of mine, why dont' you work?

Anyway, another thing I would like to bring to your attention before you click off my blog asking yourself "Why didn't she show any of the actual ceremony?! What about the groom and groomsmen getting ready? What about the photo shoot with the whole gang? Why didn't she show more of just people in general in the wedding???" Questions flood your mind I'm sure. So let me explain.
#1.Why I didn't take more of the wedding party people: I was practically the "detail photographer" and took mostly of detail that the main photographer didn't have time taking because she was taking of the big stuff (photo shoots, people, ect).
#2. Why I didn't take many of the groom, & groomsmen: I was in charge of taking of the bridesmaids and Bride. Not the groom and groomsmen.
#3. Why there is none showing of the ceremony: because I have already overloaded you all with billions of other pictures from the wedding day, and it was bad lighting in the church, and I didn't have time to edit them for you :)
#4. No reception pictures: again, baddd lighting and didn't have time to edit them for you guyzzz.
Sooooooooooo. Now that you got a list of why's and what-nots, I think I should probably stop rambling and call it a post. So! I apologize once more that these are not edited and don't look their very best. I was debating to just can the post and not show any at all, but I hope I have done the right thing in showing them and you guys enjoyed them overall.
Tell me what you guys think. I adore comments! It would brighten my day! :)
Glory to God, forever!
