Have No Fear...

Really, don't be afraid of life! God is here to stay with you forever! He will *never* leave you! I hope this is encouraging to you, because I know life can be a little frightening. So just remember you're not alone, God is here for you. He understands your fear and your hurts. Her knows everyone by name! God is here...

God is amazing!!

"Powerful God, how much do you love me?" I ask.
"This much" He said and stretched out His arms and died on the cross for me.

God's love is greater then life. Have you ever thought about that? Truly! God's love *is* better then life! His love for us is greater then anything on earth! His love is amazing! I can barely find the words to describe how much we are loved by Him!
It's amazing! So if you are feeling not loved just remember God's love for you! And His love is so much stronger then you can imagine! Like no one can match the love coming from Him! No one can love as much as He loves us is what I mean :)
Yeah, I have no idea why where the words for this post came from! Well, I do know where they came from actually! They came from God! I just think it is so powerful when God uses me to write stuff down! Do you know what I mean?!
Well, I should go :( But I hope you enjoyed my post on God's love!
I just *love* talking about God in my posts! It just makes me SO happy! I feel so alive and so much more I don't know (I can't find the words!) Just so much more alive!! =)

Skiing!

Yesterday I went with my youth group skiing! It was awesome fun!!!
It was my first time ever skiing and I REALLY enjoyed it! Guess what!!!
I didn't fall once on the hill!!! But I fell many times just trying to walk in my skis though. That was never fun because both of my skis would get tangled up so then I couldn't stand up.
It was an awesome time though! I didn't just stay on the bunny hill like I thought I would! I actually went on one of the biggest hills!!!! I love the feel when going down the big hills REALLY fast and thinking "Oh! Am I going to make it to the bottom!!?" It is just so intense!I love it! ;) Does any one agree with me?
And I also LOVE hearing your skis on the snowy hills and that soft noise that I don't know how to explain :)
Now the ski lifts were one of my favorite things! I love getting on them and going down the line but I do not like at all getting off of it!!! SCARY!!!! I was always afraid I was not going to get off fast enough and was going to go underneath it!
Now the big four seat ski lifts that take you up to the big hills are the best! They go super fast up the mountain and you are really high up! Love it! (I like heights) ;) And since you're going so fast it's really easy to get off of it!!
My youth leader fell on one of the bigger hills and lost her cell phone! It was horrible! But my other leader is a REALLY good skier and can do tricks and stuff found her cell phone! We were all praising God for that! And for keeping us all safe on the hills. Yes some of us did get bruises but no broken bones!
I'm sorry to say I took no pictures the whole day :( But maybe another time!
Ski boots are not at all fun to walk in! No way! You stand forward in them and your shins on your legs hurt horribly because the boot is pushing against your shins.
So now I have sore legs and sore neck and arms. But I am not complaining!
For I would take sourness all winter to go skiing again!! Yes skiing is awesome! And it is one of my favorite things to do now! On the ride home it felt like the car was going to tip because I was so use to being on the skis :) And my legs at every turn were acting like they were still in the skis trying to move back and forth like you are suppose to ski :)
It was an enjoyable time for sure! I am very blessed to not have a bruise or any broken bones from skiing. (Just sourness) LOL!

Let your light shine in the dark...
Sometimes I think to myself, "What do I look like to nonbelievers? Does my light shine for Jesus? Or am I looking like I'm all about myself". I am regularly asking myself that question. I do hope my light is shining for Him!! Have you ever asked yourself that question? And why? Please comment your thoughts on this...

Love is here, love is now...

Happy Valentine's Day Friends! Isn't Valentine's day a fun holiday?!

Love is like a river flowing always to you ready to tell you how much you are cared for by the Creator. Love is not against you out to harm you but is always here for you when you are hurting and is on your side. Love is beautiful, love is gentle, love was made by Him, the Creator. Love is amazing, love is graceful always in you at anytime.
Love is like a rose blooming with beauty to set your heart on fire for Him, the Creator.
Love is peaceful, love is sweet. You can not live without that love always coming down from heaven like rain on a sunny day. Love is real, love is here.
Love is yours, love is mine, love is made by Him, the Creator.
Can you imagine love flowing like a river in a desert like I imagine so?
Love is here, love is now...

These simple words just started swarming in me. I couldn't help but follow my heart and write them down for you to read. Maybe someday soon I will make this in to a song!
Yes, I probably haven't told you but I write music! I have written I don't know how many songs. I hope one day I will be able to get my songs out there for people to listen to!
I think God's plane for my life is to write music and get it out there for hurting people to listen to. For I feel for people who are hurting, and music means a lot in my life so I hope my songs will mean a lot to people too! Maybe even bring them to Christ!
So yes that is my plane and goal in life!

~Tell me your Thoughts~ Day Three

Deuteronomy 6:5
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

That verse is a good one to remember in your life. It is one of God's greatest commandments. To love your Lord your God with everything you do. Sometimes we get so caught up in what we are busy with that we forget about loving our great God with ALL our heart and ALL our soul and with ALL our might. Yes, it is way to easy to get caught up in life. But there is a way to bring God into your life even you know your SO busy. Here is the key to it, stop making yourself so busy. It's kind of our doing to make ourselvs so busy, it's our excuse to not have time to talk with God. But we can stop this though! Take the time in your everyday life to stop and talk to God and ask Him for His guidance in what to do that day. Give Him your burdens and the stuff you stress about everyday. He will gladely take care of that for you. I have to say you will feel ALOT better giving your busy life to God. You will feel so much lighter by lifting those burdens off of you and giving them to Him.
But you might be like "but Lizzie! you are saying to give God all your burdens! Why give them to Him!? He is the King! Don't give your burdens to Christ! We should serve Him not say here take all this it's to heavy!"
No that is not what it's like. Listen to these key words, when you give your burdens to Him He won't hold them for you. He will throw them away because there is NO use for them. And another thing, He wants you to give Him your stress and burdens because when we do we can see God SO much better! We actually have our eyes fixed on HIM! Not our everyday life!!!!!!
Am I making sense? I hope I am! Because this is true stuff!

~Tell me your thoughts~ Day Two

With a word God made the heavens and the earth and all that is in them...
Just think of that! With a WORD He made the stars in the sky! With a WORD He made the dirt! With a WORD He made the EARTH! How cool is that?! He didn't have to swing a wand and sing a song to make everything! No! He spoke and it was made!
Can you even imagine how powerful He is to do that? Sometimes we take His power for granted. We say "hey you! i want this, get me it!" but we shouldn't treat Him like that at all! He is NOT some one to treat like your dolly! We should PRAISE Him and HONOR Him and SERVE Him in ALL that we do!
Sometimes we think He can't answer a big prayer. We don't have FAITH in Him.
We think He is only so big. But is that how we should think of God? NO WAY! Guess what?! He MADE the heavens and the earth and EVERYTHING in them with a WORD! It's amazing!!!!!!!!
Sometimes we pray a big prayer and He doesn't answer it right away.
Does that mean He isn't listening to your prayer. No! He hears EVERY PRAYER YOU PRAY!
But sometimes we ask something that isn't possible for our future to happen. Or maybe He does answer your prayer but just not how you thought of it being answered.
But He makes all plans for your life. Plans for wholeness not for evil.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me. When you seek me with your whole heart, I will be found by you," declares the Lord, "and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile".

Isn't that verse a good reminder showing how loving God is and shows who is in control? I just love that verse. It seems when ever I feel like nothing is going my way I open my Bible and what verse do you think I turn to? Jeremiah 29:11-14. EVERY TIME! It's amazing how God speaks directly to you through His word! That is why it is SO important to ALWAYS read your Bible because God is in it! Well, I hope you are having an awesome day! SuperBowl Party! Tell me your thoughts...

Last night our church held big a Superbowl party! It was SO much fun!
The whole church was filled with fun games! The fun thing is me and and my family right after church yesterday morning helped set all the games and decorations up for the Superbowl party that night. It was so much fun! But it wasn't JUST about the Superbowl party. During the whole fun time we had a cool service. The Superbowl party seemed much more fun bringing Christ into it. Just think if the WHOLE world brought Christ into their life, just think how much better life would be knowing that Christ is told about EVERYWHERE!

The service was about the spiritual battles we deal with everyday. Like when we are reading our Bibles and we get bored. Or even little temptations that we don't even notice. But if you think about it, those little temptations are being battled everyday for you by God. But the thing is you have to choose to say no to that temptation... I'm always battling in small ways to stay on the narrow road. God's road. What are your thoughts on this? Do you notice the temptations in your life? Are you so drawn in that you don't even notice that it is a temptation? Or are you trying to stand firm in God? Comment on my blog what your thoughts are on this...

Snow!

It's it exciting watching a blizzard outside! Snow is falling so fast outside I can't almost see the house across the street!! I hope we get a lot of snow because I don't like cold weather without a lot of snow it just doesn't make it winter when there isn't much snow. Today I took some really cool pictures of all the birds on our deck! Sometime I'll have to put them on here! There was so many cardinals in the mix of birds!What is a little surprising because usually cardinals are shy and don't like coming up close to the house. Well, I must depart now :(
I will show those bird pictures soon(I hope).
