~Tell me your Thoughts~ Day Three

Deuteronomy 6:5
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

That verse is a good one to remember in your life. It is one of God's greatest commandments. To love your Lord your God with everything you do. Sometimes we get so caught up in what we are busy with that we forget about loving our great God with ALL our heart and ALL our soul and with ALL our might. Yes, it is way to easy to get caught up in life. But there is a way to bring God into your life even you know your SO busy. Here is the key to it, stop making yourself so busy. It's kind of our doing to make ourselvs so busy, it's our excuse to not have time to talk with God. But we can stop this though! Take the time in your everyday life to stop and talk to God and ask Him for His guidance in what to do that day. Give Him your burdens and the stuff you stress about everyday. He will gladely take care of that for you. I have to say you will feel ALOT better giving your busy life to God. You will feel so much lighter by lifting those burdens off of you and giving them to Him.
But you might be like "but Lizzie! you are saying to give God all your burdens! Why give them to Him!? He is the King! Don't give your burdens to Christ! We should serve Him not say here take all this it's to heavy!"
No that is not what it's like. Listen to these key words, when you give your burdens to Him He won't hold them for you. He will throw them away because there is NO use for them. And another thing, He wants you to give Him your stress and burdens because when we do we can see God SO much better! We actually have our eyes fixed on HIM! Not our everyday life!!!!!!
Am I making sense? I hope I am! Because this is true stuff!

By the way this post I'm not trying at ALL to put a guilt trip on you!! This is NOT my point to make you feel like you are doing everything wrong. I'm writing this post to encourage you! God has put this on my heart to write this for you. Just to encourage you in your walk towards Him! I know in my everyday life sometimes I get so busy with my life I feel like I don't have time to talk to God. But I have to stop and put my eyes on Him! I'm here for you!
