Cherries!

Today my mother brought home a huge bucket of lovely, bright red and shiny cherries! I've never seen such beautiful berries!
A friend of ours has cherry trees loaded with delicious tempting cherries. And they told mom to pick as many cherries as possible for they were going to waste!
So my dear mother took the pleasure of picking away at the yummy little tart berries.

My night was spent at the sink slaving away (not really, I enjoyed every bit of it) taking the pits out of the little rosy red berries. And once in awhile popping the "not-so-beautiful-looking-cherries" in my mouth ;) so satisfying during my "hard work" ;)

 

Tomorrow will consist of pitting more cherries, making cherry pies and cherry jam.
I am thankful today for, fellowship with friends and family. For delicious fruit that satisfies your fruit-craving ;) for beautiful weather God creates, and for God's everlasting love that awes me every day...What are you thankful for today?
