My other favorite style is the classy "office-girl" look.

Tenth Avenue North

Last night I got to go to a FREE Tenth Avenue North concert with some friends! I was sooo pumped! A church was holding it for all the youth groups around and for teens. It was free and a time to reach out to the community!

It was an awesome concert! I've always liked Tenth Avenue North, but never have been like "Oh my goodness! They are my FAVORITE band!"
Well, after this powerful concert I believe my opinion of them has changed and now they are like my favorite band as people. Their passion for Christ and bringing Him glory above all is amazing and that is my favorite part about them. Their mindset is to be reflectors of Christ, not be on the stage so everyone can applaud them. They said this so many times over the night and I appreciate that so much. We need more bands that say "Yeah the lights, the fun music and all the special effects are great. But do NOT let that take away from worshiping the King. He lives and He is to be praised not us up on this stage."
It was powerful. And their passion to bring people to the foot of the cross is truly amazing. Exactly what my passion is for my music too. I write music so others can see Jesus. Have moments with the King of kings.

P.S. I apologize if my pictures seem very blurry. I'm still saving for a camera (since mine decided to crash awhile ago) and the only source to capturing moments is through my phone's camera that stinks. Happy 4th of July! Hope you all are having a special day in fellowship with family and friends.
With all the cherries we picked, mom made a beautiful cherry pie! She is the best! And I look forward to spending the day eating pie and grilling out with my family then going to the beach to watch fireworks with friends!

Cherries!

Today my mother brought home a huge bucket of lovely, bright red and shiny cherries! I've never seen such beautiful berries!
A friend of ours has cherry trees loaded with delicious tempting cherries. And they told mom to pick as many cherries as possible for they were going to waste!
So my dear mother took the pleasure of picking away at the yummy little tart berries.

My night was spent at the sink slaving away (not really, I enjoyed every bit of it) taking the pits out of the little rosy red berries. And once in awhile popping the "not-so-beautiful-looking-cherries" in my mouth ;) so satisfying during my "hard work" ;)

 

Tomorrow will consist of pitting more cherries, making cherry pies and cherry jam.
I am thankful today for, fellowship with friends and family. For delicious fruit that satisfies your fruit-craving ;) for beautiful weather God creates, and for God's everlasting love that awes me every day...What are you thankful for today?

Oh Summer Life...

During the summer, I love ice cream bars, popsicles and watermelon! I'm a summer gal' all the way :) give me my sun glasses, flip-flops, a Frisbee, and picnic food, and I will be the most content girl everrrr! ;)
