Underground Church!!

UNDERGROUND CHURCH IS THE BESTTTTT GAMMEEEE EVERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight at youth group we played the most fun game there ever can be!!! :) It's my new favorite game!!! CORE team made the event!! I was suppose to be there at CORE that night but couldn't because some things I was doing else where. Okay, so why the game was so fun because the whole church's lights were turned out and you have to sneak around the church without being caught by a leader!! The point of the game was that we were suppose to find 28 Bibles in the church. (There was a point why they were Bibles. I'll explain that later in this post)
Here are some brief rules.
*Objective: Find Bibles and deliver them (to a the youth room in the church)
*When caught and taken to jail by a leader you must show the jail keeper seven "ransom texts" from other underground church members to get free. So meaning that you had to text your friends who were playing the game and were not in jail with you, you had to text them the word "help" and when they got that they had to send a message back saying "free" so when that whole group in jail finally all together get 10 texts saying "free" they are set free!!
*If a bomb (alarm clock) goes off in a room and a leader comes and turns the lights on, you are considered captured if you are in that room, and the room becomes a "dead room" , meaning you can't go into it again and all the Bibles in that room are off limits.

I don't know if those rules make sense or not :) If not, sorry!! So like I said the point of the game was to search for Bibles that were hidden around the church and you have to look in the dark and you don't know where a leader might be!! The leaders went all out and snuck around and would jump out in front of you! That was REALLY freaky :) But so thrilling!!
I got caught only three times!! I was hiding with two friends behind this counter thingy and I heard a leader coming, I felt like the whole church could hear me breathing hard!! The leader was saying "I'm going to get you!!" where ever he went. That like made me want to scream! For I kept hearing him down the hall and it felt like he was right there going to ketch me!! It was so scary!!! But I LOVEEEE THE GAME!!!!!!!!!! IT'S SOOOOO FUN!!

Okay, so why we had to sneak bibles around the church was because of this. In some countries people have to smuggle Bibles into churches because they might be caught and thrown in jail. And some get caught doing that, and it isn't good. Get what I'm saying, you know the game, Bibles. Get it? It really made you think "Would I REALLY be doing this in real life? Would I really love Jesus so much to give up my life for serving Him?" It really made you think. The whole point of the game and what is going on in the world really made it powerful.

Some of the youth kids led the whole thing tonight. After the game we went down in the youth room and one of the youth kids led the sermon. My youth Pastor and CORE team wanted it to be fully led by the youth and wanted it to be a time of prayer and stuff so all the youth leaders went out of the room and one of the CORE kids led it. It was really good. He talked about how we are so blessed to be able to come to church and praise God. And how we need to REALLY truly be lights wherever we go. It was powerful!! We sang worship and broke up into small groups to pray for the people in the world who are giving up their lives for Jesus and trying to smuggle Bibles into churches. It was a really powerful night. It was amazing how God led it. I was amazed!!
So yes, tonight was really fun and amazing!!! The game though! Oh man! I don't know about you or not, but I LOVVVVE games like that! Where you have to sneak around without being caught!!! I for about ten minutes with three other friends got stuck in a corner of the church and we were hiding there for awhile because every time we tried to move out of that corner we heard a leader coming (or the scary leader going "I'm going to get you".) And again and again we kept having to race back to our hiding!! It was a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
