So who all has seen the new movie The Hobbit?!?!? Well, last night I went and saw it with some lovely friends! I think I enjoyed being with my friend more then the movie to tell the truth. Oops...hope I didn't just offend any Lord of The Rings lovers ;) sorry guys...not trying to be mean. lol. But I thought the movie was good. But it isn't my new favorite or anything. Little too many orcs and way to many grouse and ugly things in it. Yuck...I do have to say all the actors did a wonderful job and played their parts marvelous though! Comment and tell me what you guys think of the movie if you've seen it, or the books and such ;) Would love to hear what ya think! Blessings to you!

I saw the Hobbit, and I really enjoyed it, but I know what you mean. I felt that the violence and graphic content was just my limit for movies, it made me decide that I wouldn't enjoy the Lord of the Rings movies which my Dad said were a lot more violent and graphic and evil.
ReplyDeleteI really appreciated the 'closeness' the movie was to the book. A few things were diffrent, but in genral it potrayed the story well, I thought, and kept the wonderful themes of the book in it.
Oh, and the characters were SO well done! As you've already mentioned.
Yeah, so that's my take on the movie ( :
I just have to say that Narnia is a lot better ( ;
