Winter-Sparkle-Pine Cones!

Today I thought I would share with you all a fun, quick and easy craft you can do anytime! Winter-Sparkle-Pine cones are perfect to make around Christmas so you can make fun winter decorations that you can make arrangements with!
The other day I was in the back yard. We have some big Pine Trees and other big trees in the back and so many pine cones fall out of the Pine Trees. So I thought it would be fun to pick up some good pine cones and dip them in paint then in sparkles and make them some fun little wintery craft decorations!
I found several nice pine cones and sprayed them with the hose and scrubbed them with a tooth brush (because they can be very dirty from being outside in the mud and such). Anyway, after doing that I pulled out a big fan and set them in front of it all day to dry out so they wouldn't become moldy or anything.
Things you need to make Sparkly Pine Cones:
1). First you need some pine cones of your choice and how ever many you would like to make.
2). You need white, silver or gold paint . Two paper plates a sponge paintbrush, and newspaper to lay down.
3). And last but not least you will need sparkles. White, pink, blue, gold, silver, ect...
 How to make:
So you're going to want to pour some paint on one of the paper plates, then sparkles on the other. Something like this in the picture.
Then you can either dip your pine cone in the paint on the plate or use the sponge paintbrush to brush the paint onto the tips of the pine cone leaves. Just dipping the tip of the pine cone into the paint seemed easier to me, so I did it that way. But you can do it either way.
When you dip or brush the pine cone in paint you are going to want to do it in segments because if you do the whole pine cone the paint will dry before you can dip it in sparkles.
Then you are going to want to dip the painted tips of the pine cone in the sparkles of your choice so the paint is almost fully covered in sparkles.
{Here is a little sneak-peak of what your finished pine cone should look like after dipping it into paint then sparkles}. Then after it is finished you can let it sit and dry for awhile and there you have it! That is how you make Winter-Sparkle-Pine cones!
I hope you will try this quick craft sometime! Comment and tell me what you think of it and tell me if you are thinking of trying it sometime! Hope you are having a good week! God bless!
