The Clumsy Maiden.

Hello there!
So, I have a short story I thought I would share with you all. It's written by me, and it goes something like this:
"Once upon a time there was a young maiden. This maiden wasn't like ordinary maidens who were graceful and never showed a sign of clumsiness.
No, actually this maiden was quite the opposite.

One night she and her older sister were chatting. The older sister showed the maiden the art she painted on her folder/book both girls received from their youth minister.
The maiden decided she wanted to grab her own folder/book at the end of her glorious bed.
Gracefully like a butterfly, she scooted across the room to retrieve her beloved folder.
Then, suddenly the smile on her face left her. CRACK!
"Oh no! Ouch!" she yelped, grabbing her right foot and beginning to make whaling noises that were very much unlady-like.

On her graceful expedition, her lovely ballet toe decided to spasm right when she was passing her bed leg.

The satisfying crack explained that she stubbed her lovely ballet toe. In fact, broke that lovely toe.
The grace that never was there, left the maiden as she groaned like an over sized grizzly bear awakened from winter sleep.
Stumbling to sit on her bed like an old woman without her cane, she yanked off her sock and tried to move her beloved BRIGHT pink toe that happened to be her favorite toe. The pinky toe...
But the sad little pig didn't budge.
"Look at it! It won't move!" the maiden exclaimed as her watery eyes turned into joy and laughter.

But then! To her, and her sister's horror and mournful sorrow, there was blood!
Yanking her foot up into her face to get a better look she discovered the lovely nail on that...that...pink toe was wiggling and coming off! And there was a deep cut on the front of that pig.
"Blood!" she screeched as the pain ringed throughout her body.
With her dear sister's assistants, they got the lovely now ruined war toe bandaged. And she was left to moan and groan over her lovely, pink, ballet toe that was sent to battle with no armor on.

Now the maiden is left in the world. Wobbling around, and  becoming an old woman at age 15 by wobbling unsteady, and complaining about the aches and pains in her toe and back..."
                                                             The End.
So, interesting and very random story you think. Well, let me shed some light on that dark closet you insist to stand in for better closet air.
That lovely clumsy maiden is sadly me... Yep, poor little Polly-Pinky-Toe went to unexpected battle two nights ago. That bed leg gave no warning! Just BANG! It attacked! My poor toe had no time to scoot away before it slammed heavily into my bed leg.

Yeah, as you can tell I'm kinda in a weird mood. It least since I broke my toe, cut it badly, and ripped the nail off I can make a glorious and hilarious story out of it, right? You might think I was like running to grab my folder and stubbed it. But no, I was walking. Very calmly and slowly too! Oh well...I hope you enjoyed my short story. Write me a comment and pity poor little Polly-Pinky-Toe. She has been crying ever since :) (not really of course).
But I would loveeeeeeeee comments! So please make my day and say hello! :)
Tell me also what you think of my pathetic story ;) It's lame and cheesy I know, but I had fun writing it :) God bless!

  5. Ouch! It makes me hurt to think of it... :( I'm sorry about your toe! I've never done anything like that to mine, but one Father's Day, my dad broke a toe. Nice present, no? :P LOL. It seems to be healed now, thankfully.

I'm praying that it will heal soon! :D
